You will love this summer poem and enjoy sharing it. Do you love summer? We all love summer and wait this beautiful season whole the year.
Upon the wisp of summers wind
A fragrant carried on by breeze
Of flowers plush to fill the air
With sent to draw the honey bees
I was there upon the ripened bloom
A creature lit on petal sweet
To draw from offered blossom deep
The nectar it soon would carry home
Where are the distances near or far?
The flight be swift and always true
To bring back rich treats
And then dance for you
Within the hive excitement grew
With every turn or quivering move
To tell the story of where they’d been
To show the way back there again
As teams of others join the quest
And quickly light to treasured bloom
They pollinate from flower to flower
To serve the queen from whom they came
They work to gather -together to give
And fill their combs with golden jell
Thus amaze our eyes as our hands we glean
The Honey that we love so well
